About Eric Forster
Eric's mother inspired his interest in art. She was an accomplished watercolorist, who also designed and screen printed her own Christmas cards. Eric would often help his mother with her screen printing. Eric's interest in photography comes from his father, an engineer who was a great amateur photographer. In school, Eric chose art as one of his electives, and studied architecture in college. He has worked as a photographer, videographer, and graphic designer. The amount of detail in the bark on this tree is way beyond impressive. This reminds me of a Black Oak. One of your best!
Eric Forster replied:
Thank you. You saw this drawing while in progress. Yes, it was labor intensive.
Olaf Del Gaizo
Great sense of age conveyed here. The shimmering, crickety line work on the bone-white background makes this picture pop.
Eric Forster replied:
Thank you.
